SHUNYATA OSSEWAARDE by Kwabena Appiah-Nti

Both based in Amsterdam and longtime fans of each others’s work, photographer Kwabena Appiah-nti and luxury lingerie designer Tisja Damen joined hands to create a new truly wonderful story together in Brazil.

Tisja’s lingerie is made by women for women and aims to adorn every female body, no matter what shape or size it is. To really capture Rio de Janeiro’s vibes and not have to hurry or plan out the shoots, Kwabena used his own girlfriend Shunyata Ossewaarde as the model. This led to impromptu photo shoots and a comfortable and trusting vibe in the images. Brazil’s abundant beauty and the crashing waves on tranquil beaches, in combination with the delicate lace inspired Kwabena endlessly during the month he spent there.

The images were shot at Oscar Niemeyer’s villa Casa das Canoas, an Airbnb in the Vidigal favela and Rio de Janeiro’s nude Abrico beach, in May 2018.

Drake - "In My Feelings"

Drake's Scorpion standout "In My Feelings" has become a viral hit thanks to the #InMyFeelings dance challenge, and now the Toronto rap superstar has released a video for the track.

The cinematic clip begins with Drizzy showing up at his beloved Kiki's window and calling up to her, Romeo and Juliet-style. After that, the video is a non-stop summer street party featuring Drake wearing a shiny grill and doing the now-famous #InMyFeelings routine alongside lots of fellow dancers.
 
The #InMyFeelings dance was created by American comedian Instagram personality Shiggy, who appears in this video.

Watch it below. Drake is about to go on tour with Migos, despite a slight delay in the schedule.

You don't have to tell her twice (or even once for that matter).

CHVRCHES - "Out Of My Head" ft. WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA

Chvrches only recently released their album Love Is Dead, but the U.K. group are now back with a new song and a totally anime video to go with it.

The track is called "Out of My Head," and it features Japanese electro-pop group Wednesday Campanella. To further cement their love for Japan, Chvrches enlisted director Junichi Yamamoto and and art director Yoshiki Imazu to helm the song's animated video.

"I was asked by [Chvrches singer] Lauren [Mayberry] that I should express my strong emotion and vent my anger to the song," said Kom_I of Wednesday Campanella in a statement. "I realized that I personally have little chance to feel the tears welling up with strong anger — probably because I recently turned 25 years old, and have been given warm support by many people around me. However, even though I have obtained freedom, the world is not yet changed and we can never have completely assured lives in this era. So I wrote this for giving a pep talk to myself who is being left half done. Kawasaki meets Glasgow, Kiyoshiro Imawano meets David Bowie, and edamame meets fish and chips."

Mayberry added, "Japan has always been a really special place for CHVRCHES. And we were really excited to put together something special for our fans there. Kom_I has such a strong, individual voice in her music and how she conducts herself as a person — something that I really admire — and we were so lucky that she wanted to collaborate on this track."
